NOVEMBER 18-19 - Student Summit in Ottawa, ON - Ethan Checkosis and Calvin Jr. Chickosis will be ambassadors of our school.

OCTOBER 28 - Hallowe'en Themed Literacy Night, 4-7pm
OCTOBER 9 - Cash/Merchandise BINGO, Vet's Hall, 7:00p.m. - Proceeds: CPS Christmas Tree Fund
SEPTEMBER 30 - Orange shirt day! September 30th has been declared Orange Shirt Day annually, in recognition of the harm the residential school system did to children's sense of self-esteem and well-being, and as an affirmation of our commitment to ensure that everyone around us matters. http://orangeshirtday.weebly.com/
SEPTEMBER 21 - Cash/Merchandise BINGO, Vet's Hall, 7:00p.m. - Proceeds: CPS Christmas Tree Fund
MAY 14: Students and staff from Constable Robin Cameron Education Complex will be visiting our school to host workshops with the Gr. 4/5 and Gr. 6/7 classes. They will also give a performance for the entire school from 2-3pm.
MAY 9: Voices of the Valley - Steak night starts at 5pm, Concert starts at 7pm FEBRUARY 4: Author showcase: Maria Campbell DECEMBER 18th: Christmas concert (10am), community dinner, and Santa visits! NOVEMBER 18-22: NAAW activities
Please remember that parents/guardians are welcome at the school and in their student's classrooms at any time. You don't need an appointment or invitation.

OCTOBER 29-OCTOBER 31: From Tuesday, Oct. 29-Thurs., Oct. 31st, go check out the Haunted House from 7pm-9pm!
All proceeds go towards fundraising efforts for Chief Poundmaker School.

MAY 10: Voices of the Valley
On Friday, May 10, 2013 our school hosted a fundraiser, showcasing local singing talent. It was a great success!
APRIL 16: Discovery Education First Nation LiveStream
On Tuesday, April 16, 2013 our Gr. 5/6 class hosted a LiveStream through Discovery Education to share our student's culture (art, language), and traditions (pow wow singing and drumming).
